So I recently transferred MP3s onto my MBP, and all I did was put them in my Music Folder, and drag them into iTunes. I noticed they all sort of recopied themselves into the iTunes folder in Music, so I was wondering if I could delete all the files not in the iTunes folder since they had already made their way into iTunes? Thanks a lot.

Yeah you can, looks like you have "Copy Files to iTunes Folder when adding" or something like that ticked. So you can get rid of the directory you copied over if you have added all the files to iTunes.
