Ive had my iPod Touch for a few months now and got sick of the fact I couldnt view flash content in the Safari browser. I got told to try jailbreak my iPod as it allows this and all other fancy ****, but have a few questions before a try anything:

1) Is there any possible chance it will brick my iPod?
2) If it all goes tits up, is it a simple Restore to manufacturer settings through iTunes?
3) And if 3 occurs, what happens to my paid applications on my iPod? Is it like the music downloads, where you have to authorize and de-authorize stuff, so that you can use it over again?

Sorry, Im pretty sure there will be a topic like this on the forum somewhere, but I just need a quickfire answer because I'm pretty anxious/curious about trying this out tonight :D

Well if it's the second generation iPod touch then you, currently, cannot jailbreak it.

1) Hardly. This used to be very common back at 1.1.1 to 1.1.4. Now it is very rare to brick you iPod.

2) Yes, iTunes may even prompt you to restore it.

3) What the other poster said.

From what I understand, only the iPhone can be bricked. The iPod cannot be harmed in any way that can't be solved by software.
