This unit is being paired with a 15" 2016 (2.7/1TB/455) MBP using the supplied TB3 cable.

Pros:
  • It powers the 15" MBP @ 85w.
  • It is connected to a Dell P2415q 4k screen via the dock's display port.
  • Gigabit ethernet working perfectly and with manually assigned VLANs too.
  • USB upstreamed to the 3.0 hub in the back of the Dell Screen and multiple devices connected.
  • 2nd TB3 port linked via an Apple TB2 adaptor to an external TB hdd.
  • Front USB-C port connected to my iOS devices via an Apple USB-C to lightning cable.
  • Got it for $299 from B&H.
Cons:
  • None
Summary: It works perfectly, there have been no weird quirks, disconnects, or anything wacky (looking at you, OWC). IT JUST WORKS!
