Quick Look automatically scrolls document back to start and/or zooming out

I noticed that nobody brought up this issue before. When I am using a Mac and am reading a document using Quick Look and I have it zoomed in a bit (i.e. a Microsoft Word document where the default text size may be too small), as I scroll down to keep reading the document, half the time at a random point the Quick Look window randomly zips the document back to the beginning and shrinks it to its' original size. Same with image files.
Is this some kind of bug Apple hasn't fixed yet, or some kind of preference/feature I don't know about?
