Hello everyone!

I had to do a Time Machine restore from a couple of days ago on my 2009 Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard. Since then, in mail.app whenever I try to quick look an attachment, QL starts but all I get is a gray area where the attachment should display.

Does anyone have a solution to get QL working again? Thank you!

Exact same problem with my machine after doing a time machine restore yesterday. Any known fixes besides creating a new user and re-installing everything...I thought that was what time machine was supposed to avoid...

This didn't work for me. I had previously tried that. I had to go back to the original Snow Leopard DVD and install from there. Luckily it doesn't wipe out everything, but did kill DBD::mysql and a the mysql symbolic link for the Web server. Wish that this whole process had been much easier. Time machine is still not perfect.

After much searching, I found a solution. Download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.2 Snow Leopard Combo Update package from Apple. More from Joe Aimonetti at Cnet: http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-10398867-263.html
