Since upgrading to 10.5.5, i cannot 'quick look' video files.
.mov files play a blank screen and noise, other video nothing at all.

I can quick look any other sort of file but not video.

I cannot be 100% that this is due to 10.5.5, but it definitively worked before it.

Thank you, and i would appreciate any help you could give me.

Thank you.

Jon

Whenever I've had major issues after an update I install the combo update over the top which usually seems to sort it out.

Have you veryfied and repaired permissions?

Gus, thank you pal.

I repaired permissions via Onyx, did a restart and voila, all working now.

But just out of curiosity, what could have been the problem.
I couldn't even actually 'quick look' mp3 files.

Thank you very much.

Also thanks acxz for also suggesting a solution, and taking time to reply.

Glad i could help!:D

Well when your permissions changed, they messed up some things and they can mess up many things in different ways.

Oh, you can also repair permissions through disk utility which is located in your utilities folder. From there you can also repair your disk!;)
