Hi Everyone,

I just upgraded my work computer (late 2012 iMac) to Yosemite, and now I have some issues with scrolling through pages when using Quick Look to preview a file (space bar). This is something I do frequently, skimming through a journal article to see if it is what I am looking for. Before the upgrade I had no problems - I could scroll through pages of a pdf file (or any other) with no problem. Since the upgrade, though, I am having issues with it. I'll summarize what I've noticed:

1. If I scroll slowly, so it would normally stop briefly at each page, it will only let me scroll one page, and then scrolling no longer works in either direction.

2. If I smoothly/quickly scroll, it will let me scroll until I stop, and then scrolling no longer works in either direction.

3. In either case, the "page up" and "page down" buttons still work for scrolling, but not the mouse.

4. If I close and re-open the Quick Look of the file with the space bar it still will not scroll. However, if I click the "x" at the top of the Quick Look screen, and then re-open with space bar, it goes back to the behavior in 1. and 2.

Any ideas? It is very frustrating, since this is something I do (or used to do...) frequently. On a side note, I've also noticed that the mouse scroll settings are strange; setting 1 and 2 is very slow (same speed), and setting 3 and above is very fast (all the same speed also). I've also noticed the same is true if I change the setting through "Accessibility", only there only setting 1 is slow, the rest are fast. Not sure if that is related or not, but I thought I would mention it (I can get used to the faster speed, so if it's unrelated there is no need to spend time trying to fix it separately).

Thanks for any help!

PS, I had my labmate try this, and it is the exact same situation on hers, so I'm guessing this isn't an isolated experience... though I can't find much, if anything, on Google...
