Quick Look Video issues after 10.5.6

I had no problem flipping through videos from my trip yesterday but today, post 10.5.6, i get totally busted video playback of all files (these are .avi's from a Flip). Anyone else experience some wackness after 10.5.6?

AVIs from my fairly old Canon digicam play back fine in Quicklook after the update. They're only 320 x 240 though!
