Quick Mac Mail question about displaying the day

Is there a way to have Mac Mail display the day of the week next to the date the email was received?

For example instead of just saying March 29, 2011 it would say "Wednesday March 29, 2011"

You'll also need to know that %a and %A are the codes displaying the day of the week (%A is full name, %a is abbreviation).

So what you're saying is there's no simple setting in Mail to show the day of the week an email was received in the "Date Received" section? You would think this is something rather easy to do. No?
