Sorry for the stupid question but I'm about to jailbreak my iPhone 4 that's currently running 4.2.1. Should I upgrade to 4.3.1 before the jailbreak? I know the untethered jb just came out for it but are there any disadvantages? Thanks.

Do you want to upgrade or not? If you do, then jailbreaking now won't matter as updating will eliminate it anyway and restore the phone, so you might as well just update it now then jailbreak and save yourself the trouble.
Thanks. Just wondering if there's anything the new 4.3.1 jailbreak is missing or something, but I guess not.
