Spent a few minutes yesterday at an Apple store fondling the new Touch.
1. I played with 3 different ones. Each had a loose wiggly home button.
2. The backs were remarkably scratched up. (albeit in one of the busiest stores...5th Ave. NYC)
3. Dang it's thin.
4. Dang it's solid. The metal one piece back really goes a long way towards strengthening the build.
5. Some have said the screen is warmer colored like the 3G iPhone. The ones I saw seemed less warm than the 3G iPhones I've owned/seen.
6. With its dark metal bezel, the original Touch looks stealthier/higher tech than the new one. From the back/sides however, the new one looks nicer.
That's it.
