Hi there! Haven't posted in probably 12 years believe it or not. I was shocked myself as I visit the forums every day but I guess I never logged on...any hoo...
Just wanted to reach out to this forum to see if anyone, who owns a Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 audio/midi interface, has ever tried using it for a DAC connected to an AppleTV. I may be purchasing an NI KA6 here in a few days and my ultimate decision really depends on this feedback.
Reason is I don't really compose/produce music but the reviews of the interface have been stellar (with some saying that these are OEM'd from RME.)
With that being said...I thought that using it connected to my AppleTV via ADAT/Optical SPDIF, that it could serve as an excellent low profile DAC. The interface would then be connected to an active-powered Martin Logan Motion Vision X.
Thoughts? (Including if I am off about the KA6 and it's reputation!
