Quick Q about excluding forums in new posts search..

Just wondering about this before I add a list to my exclusion on new posts search.

I want to exclude the entire iPhone/touch section which is f103, can I just put 103 in there or do I have to manually list every forum inside of that section?

i.e Also want to block Archive which is 12. 12 is the Archive section. Do I have to list just 12 to miss out wasteland (41) and Archive of old posts (59) or add those too?

I believe that you have to manually list every forum and subforum inside of the section. If you save the URL as a bookmark, e.g.

https://forums.macrumors.com/search/?do=getnew&exclude=41,107,99,109,105,108,104​

then it's only a one-time bother to set up the list of forums you want to exclude... until we add a new subforum in that section!

You probably don't have to exclude the "Archives of Old Posts" forum since new posts won't be made there.
