Quick question about 2011 MBP's "automatic graphics switching" option.

This will sound like a dumb question to some of u, but is it safe to leave this option unchecked??? I know it will use more battery, which I don't mind. But is it safe????

Yes.

Computers have been using discrete graphics without "automatic graphics switching" for millennia. It's not going to hurt your computer, it's just going to make it a little hotter, and decrease your battery life slightly.

I keep that option unchecked while working, no issues at all.

So in Windows Bootcamped, does it just always use the dedicated gfx? Or is there a way to specify to just use the integrated?

don't know about bootcamp, but Fusion 3 kicks the dedicated GPU on.

in bootcamp theres is no way to use the integrated card.
at least i do not know of a way to do this and i already did some recherche for this.
