Quick question about Apple Online Store and when we get charged?

I did a search and it just came up with a bunch of ambiguous results...

If I make an order for the Apple TV online today, will my credit card be charged right away? Or will it not be charged at all until Feb when it actually ships out?

if apple is like any other online retailer, then they would charge the card as you place your order. if they don't have their store set up like that then they will charge the card like a few days prior to the shipping day. if you see a post on your account now then its been charged obviously. if you don't it would most likely be a few days prior shipping.

Well thanks but all I've got is a debit Visa card to use online so I need to know if the money's gonna come out of my account or not.

I tried sending a question to Apple but I think they're swamped because my question would not go through. It kept saying to try again later.
