I've got this very nice monitor running on this lovely operating system, but I've got one issue... I can't seem to get the monitor to work with unstretched 4:3 resolutions... I expect, e.g., 1600x1200 to have black bars on the size and have square pixels; instead, it stretches everything out. There isn't an option for 1600x1200 (stretched), but for the lower resolutions that do have both stretched and unstretched options the two look identical.
I've had this problem on a PowerMac G5 with the geforce 6600 graphics card and now on a Mac Pro with the radeon x1900. Is this an issue with the monitor? With the OS? With the graphics card?
If anybody has a solution, or knows what's going on, I'd love to find out...
