Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked before but am sort of confused here.

I'm currently running OS X 10.7.5 and have been intending to upgrade to Mountain Lion for some time. Now that Mavericks is out as the 'improved mountain lion" so to speak, for free, I was wondering this.

If I install mavericks while currently running 10.7.5 will I get mountain lion as well for free? Or will it simply **** up my Snow Leopard Install?

Should I buy mountain lion first, upgrade to 10.8, and then install mavericks?

Thanks so much!

You can upgrade from 10.7.5 (which is Lion, not Snow Leopard) directly to Mavericks. And no, you won't get Mountain Lion.
