New iphone 4s came in the mail today. It is an upgrade from another iphone on my account. I want to activate this 4s but put my iphone 4 sim card in the new 4s and the 4s's sim card in the iphone 4. Can I activate it, then switch sim cards in the phones? whats the best way to do this? thanks.

Yes you can do that or you can swap the sims before you turn the phone on. Assuming you have AT&T, the sim was activated when they shipped you the phone.
