Quick question about the upgrade disc...

Hi all,

I got my iMac only about 2 months ago so i qualified for a upgrade disc for the £7.95. Anyway my question is, can i put that disc into my 1 year old white MacBook and upgrade that to 10.6 also? Or would i need to buy a single user disc for £25?

You need to buy that extra license.

Technically, it should work on either if 10.5 is installed.

Anyways, technically it should work, shouldn't it? SL doesn't need a CD key or anything right? (Sorry I only bought my first Mac last month but from what I've gathered from reading on the forums)

That's what im thinking that it will work, surely the discs arent made specific for each machine (eg my 24" imac). Anyway will just need to try i suppose when i get the disc's!
