quick question about tinyumbrella

I'm trying to use tinyumbrella with my iphone 4 and just want to make sure that I am doing it correctly. I am using a windows computer and trying to update to 4.2.1 When I hold shift and click restore should I use an ipsw file that I download off the internet to restore to. I found one here http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ but I want to make sure that if I restore to this while the tss server is running that my baseband will not be updated

Yeah, you did one downloaded from you computer. Do exactly has the guide says.

my phone is stuck in recovery mode even after selecting exit recovery in tiny umbrella any suggestions

You should of pressed shift+update, select the 4.2.1 with TSS server running or have your host files edited. Then after the restore you would of seen the 1013 error. After, then use TinyUmbrella to kick out of recovery.
