I'm a recent converter to mac, bought the high end macbook, I was wondering if there is a better antivirus, than sophos. I already installed it cause its free for my university(UCLA) but sb told me that it only catches windows viruses. Does anybody know if its useful and if it catches any mac harmful stuff whatever u wanna call it?
Is there a better antivirus than sophos cause I though sophos is a very expensive and respectable antivirus?

Why did you install this? Because you think you need it or because you don't want to pass on viruses to Windows users? Macs don't get viruses, so if you don't care about doing PC owner's jobs for them, just uninstall it. If you're set on using it, ClamXav is a worthy successor.
