Bought something on Costco.com and may need to return it.

-Wife and I share a household membership (each of us has a unique member number)

-Item was ordered under her account online, but shipping/billing recipient name was mine

-Credit card used was mine (basically the whole order was in my name, just done under her account)

Question: can I return the item in store myself, or does she need to do it? I know I can return online, but it's just easier and quicker to do it in store. I just don't know if I can do it or she needs to do it, given how the order was executed in my name with my credit card, but under her account. I do have receipt.

I agree with calling, but as long as you share a membership I don't think it matters. I've returned stuff my husband has purchased before. They can tell the account is linked and they will just refund the money back to the original card or give you a store credit.
