I got and ipad1 and i like it
but I thought I would upgrade to ipad2. One thing that got me confused is that it seems to be mostly the same except for the camera which I dont use, and lighter weight , which is welcome but is this enough to buy a whole new ipad?

My main question is, the ipad has a problem that it always has how do they say this, hiccups?
I type fast and sometimes it will just freeze for few moments and then continue, a lot of the time it will skip letters I typed because it froze or it just didnt take in the input I guess because its slow.

Any one feels there is a performance upgrade that makes using the ipad software much more enjoyable?
I am tired of seeing square mesh while scrolling on website.
I'd love if browsing on the ipad= browsing on the pc

There are several threads in this forum that covers this exact topic. You should probably take a look at those.

But in short: it is MUCH lighter than iPad 1. Doesn't seem like much on paper, but in real life, I think it's a big difference.

Web browsing is a bit better, but still see squares.

Is it worth it? Personal preference really... but I say yes, given the lighter weight.
