Quick question: Optical drives. Is the tray front exposed or....

... is there a flip down cover on the Mac Pro casing?

In other words, with a third part optical drive, is the colour of the tray exposed at all times (showing black or beige) or is this covered by something when the tray is closed?

You'll need to take the front of the tray when you add a 3rd party drive.

The drive sits back from a built in door.

And the door slides down when you open the tray.
