Hi all and thanks in advance.

I downloaded the DropBox app and logged in and indeed I can see all my files.

My question is: Do I need to be connected to see them at any time or are they downloaded to the phone at each auto synch?

Thanks - I am a doc and keep emergency notes/precsriptions on DropBox.

No - your files aren't automatically downloaded/sync'd to your phone.

But you can "star" the documents that you want to reference when not connected to Wifi or Cellular, and those WILL download to your phone.

Interesting but it won't work for me.........

I have too many to manually "star" them all.

Best app to open .rtf and .txt files on IOS6 ?

Thanks again!
