long story short, I installed Optibay and took out my Superdrive.

now my primary drive needs repair. Disk Utility said "this disk needs to be repaired, Start up your computer with another disk (such as your Mac OS X)

how will I do that with my superdrive now an external drive?

Thanks in advance?

It should boot from an external optical drive just the same as it does an internal optical drive. Hold down Option right when you hear the startup bong and it should show you the bootable media in that drive.
