Hi guys i just have a quick question.

I purchased an apple macbook pro in september, the version i received from the store was the mid 2012 version. I just looked and it appears that a late 2012 version was released in june some time? does this sound legit that i got a mid 2012 instead of a late 2012? i feel like i have been robbed, is there any difference in the models?

thanks

Did you get the 13"? A retina version was released in October for a few hundred more. The non retina was last updated in June.

A "Late 2012" would not be released in June. You are probably referring to the 13" rMBP which was released in October as a "Late 2012" model.

If you bought a MBP in Sept and it says "Mid 2012" then you got the newest version at the time.
