I have never ore ordered a product from apple encore, so was wondering what should I expect? I plan on being there on the dot when they are available, however is there still a chance that I won't get the watch in release? Is preordering inly available for a limited time due to demand?

What's the drill here, what should i expect?

Cheers

The Watches will show an estimated delivery date. After a couple of minutes, several of the more popular options will start to show delayed delivery dates, i.e. delivers 5/1, delivers 6/1, etc.

So the chances of receiving one at launch, even if ordering at an early time on the 10th, is pretty slim?

Make sure your ready and sat at your computer so that you can refresh the page and you might just get one in the first wave.

expect the worse, & hope for the best.

That's all the prep you need.

this x10 :)

When I pre-ordered the iPhone 6 for my wife and I, I had a browser window opened to Apple.com and Att.com next to each other. About 5 min before the actual pre-order time, AT&T's website began taking pre-orders before Apples came back online. I had mine and my wife's phones pre-ordered through AT&T before they were technically supposed to be open for pre-orders :p

Well where else could I check other than Apple.com?

for this release, Apple.com only (that I know of). When it comes it phones, it's nice that you can try your carrier website too.

I just hope they have made many more watches than they did iPhone 6's at launch. *fingers crossed*

Rumours are saying that there are supply constraints. Not sure if it's as bad as the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus tho, also it's going to depend on how well the Apple Watch sells and how many people want to pre-order from day 1.
