Quick question regarding Transmission

Haven't used Transmission before on my Mac (yeah, where have I been?)

I wanted to know what the red dot with a number in it means on Transmission's dock icon? The red dot is similar to the one that is on the Apple mail dock icon, notifying the number of new messages. I'm going to just guess this means the number of completed downloads?

I can't quite remember exactly, because I used Transmission a while back before using Azureus(now Vuze) completely. If I remember correctly, I think you're right. Check it out and see. How many complete downloads do you have, and when that amount changes, does the number in the red dot change to the same amount number too?
