Have all SHSH's backed up in cydia, have a 3gs with 3.1.3(7ei8) and firmware 05.12.01, want to upgrade to IOS4 but cant find a jailbreak for it on Iclarified only for a mac? Can I or not a good idea just yet? Any help is awesome, thanks everyone for your contributions.

That's because there is currently no jailbreak for 3GS on iOS 4.
Wait, new tools are expected any day.
If I understanding that your stll 3.1.3 You can try the latest Sn0wbreeze 1.7 I think. Not my favorite jb tool. But it has worked for mine old bootrom 3GS here are some directions. http://www.redmondpie.com/jailbreak-iphone-3gs-ios-4-new-bootrom-with-sn0wbreeze/ if you upgraded to 4.0 your sol for now.
