ok, ive been editing a movie in imovie 09 and exported it to idvd for the final touches with the menus and to burn it off,

when you click the burn icon, it says it will take between 5-6hours to do.
the video is 1hr 17mins long. does that time include the burn time which is set at x1 slowest possible.

Thanks in advance

im using the aluminium macbook.

It takes extremely long for iDVD to burn DVDs. If you have menus that play music, that adds on to the time it will take to burn. I usually burn DVDs before I go to bed and check it out in the morning.

Hi thanks for the reply,

The dvd does contain, 2 audio tracks in the menus menu, along with 23 chapters and a slideshow of 20 photos.

Its done, 5 - 5-30 hours, not bad i guess from a 15.5gig imovie export!

Thanks for the info
