Whats the normal Page outs number when using Leopard with 1Gb Ram (Safari, Closing and opening Pages, Msn, Mail open) I believe I am getting a lot (128,430 in, 74,213 out) with 127 mb Ram Free (Safaris taking 240mb Real Memory :S) Any thoughts?

That's quite a lot if it's a short period, I would get some more memory. You'd probably notice a general speed up, too.
OSX seems to work best with a minimum of 2GB, but more if you are using Photoshop, Aperture, Final cut Pro etc...

Yeah it is a short period. I guess I gotta switch to 2GB. Meanwhile, for those people that have 1GB, is this a common "issue" for you guys? Is it normal to have this number of page outs?

I had a 10:9 ratio of page in/page outs before I put 2GB RAM in my machine (the same MacBook that you have)

It seems Ill be upgrading to 2GB, which brand do you guys recommend the most, I've heard about crucial memory.
