Hey everyone i just bought my mbp 17 inch 2.5. I was wondering how would i make the safari browser strech across my screen. Second does anbody play yahoo chess. Because i open it up but when i create a table it blinks as if it responded but i dont see my table

um, go to window, zoom while in safari or click and drag the lower right hand corner of a window

Click and drag the bottom right corner of the Safari window to whatever size you want, just like you would in Windows.

As far as yahoo chess. I don't play that. However, you might want to try another browser like Firefox.

Thanks i figured it out. One more question. Is there a way that i can set up that when i turn the mbp on, it asks for a password to get in? Sorry for all the questions im new to mac i just switched from windows. Thanks again!

System Preferences -> Accounts -> Login Options (You might have to click on the padlock and enter your password at this point) -> Automatic Login -> change to disabled.
