so, i have a 200 gb hdd, and 20 gb left, thanks to me ridiculous music collection, and i am getting final cut, pro logic, and maybe adobe master suite soon thanks to my job, what i need to know is, if i buy a new hard drive, install it myself, will it void my warranty? i don't want any ifs or maybes, i need to know fact.

If it's the uni, get a torx set and replace it yourself in about five minutes. Get a larger, faster drive for a little extra oomph. If you take it back in for repair, pop the old drive back in.
