Is the V different?

Sure, the voltage rating is different.
Easy to see that B&H says 1.5 volt, and Crucial lists as 1.35 volt.
Won't make a difference to the MBPro, however...

If you are not convinced about the (same) memory from B&H, then get the RAM from the company that makes it (Crucial). They will make sure that it works for you, in the unlikely event that you have some problem with it. B&H will probably do as well, although I have no experience with B&H.

So it might be worth the extra $15? Same goes for the M500?
 
Yes, might be worth it. However, I don't have any experience to say that B&H would (or would not) be a good choice, too.
If you are asking what I prefer - I like OWC, because they will give you great answers about what will work (or won't work :D )
In the end, the choice is yours (and not what some anonymous "techie" tells you here…)
