So right now in iOS 7 if you get a group message you get a notification with the senders name. I'm guessing that is the same in iOS 8. But my question is. In iOS 8 if you pull down for quick reply and it's a group message does it show that it's a group message or the other peoples names or something like that?

Ok this is my concern. If you use quilt reply on a group message it won't let you know it's a group message. If you take a took at the sceen shot below it looks like you would expect but doesn't seem to have much room for a list of names. Can some one please let me know if there is any attempt to show that it's a group message?

Group chats have customizable names in iOS 8. Presumably if you get a message in a named group chat, the name of the group chat will appear instead (or in addition to) the actual sender's name.

True. But how many people will take the time I name the group message?

Once one person names it, it names it for the rest of the people in the group.

And it doesn't show the subject instead of the name. It just shows the name of who sent the message, even if it's in a group chat.

Ok thank you. I think apple should work on fixing that

How? I don't have iOS 8 and I'm not a developer.
Well spotted Doctor11. Yeah it would be easier and more appropriate for someone who has iOS 8 and/or is a developer to report this. Otherwise, you are able to register a free developer account to report bugs, but if you don't even have iOS 8 there may be a problem if they request a stackshot or something. Then there's the feedback form that anyone can use. Up to you.

Yeah I'm not going to report it but some one with iOS 8 should.

You can report with a free dev account, and they only ask for a description of the problem.

Anyone else having an issue with Group Chats sending as an iMessage to some people and texts to others. Creating big confusion here.

I'm going to assume that apple still has not fixed this issue. I would really appreciate if you report this so hopefully Apple will address this before the GM
