Quick reply in messages app?

This is the most important and simple update they could have done in my opinion. I text a lot and I find that the feature that BiteSMS users take advantage of is the quick sms reply through any screen on the iPhone, even the lock screen. In io7 keynote, I was waiting all the way till the end and didn't see this update. Can someone confirm this is or isn't in the update please? Thank you.
