iPhone 12 Pro Quick Setup stuck on "Preparing to Transfer"

I'm trying to migrate from my iPhone 11 to 12 using Quick Setup. The process gets stuck at Preparing to Transfer...

I've restarted the process many times and it keeps getting stuck there. Any idea on what I should do?

Mine was doing the same then realized I was on Public Beta. Updated new phone to same Beta and then it worked

I was having the same issue and now I've gotten new screens and much farther along with both phones on public beta..Hah!

having this issue as well - one pair of phones worked fine (updated both to latest 14.2 dev beta) - other is a stock 14.0.x iPhone 11 Pro moving to stock iPhone 12 Pro. Updating the 11 to 14.1 now to see if that may fix it...
