Both RAM sticks you linked to will not work, as they are DDR3 RAM with 204 pins.
You have, at least you stated that, DDR2 RAM, which has 200 pins.

Btw, RAM does not need to be paired, I ran (and many others do too) 2GB + 4GB sticks quite successfully.
