Quick T-Mobile 6s Phone on AT&T Network Question

Looking for information on a T-Mobile under the EIP contract:
  1. Will that work on the AT&T network as is ? (inserting AT&T SIM)
  2. Will I need to pay it off and have it unlocked (if so, is that a quick procedure)?
  3. Is there a way to check it without an AT&T SIM?
