Hi folks,

I'm running into a shortage of connectivity on my rMBP.

Can I plug in a Lacie LittleBigDisk into a thunderbolt port, and then plug a monitor into the outgoing thunderbolt port on the disk using an thunderbolt to DVI adapter?

So basically it'd be rMBP>TB HD>23" cinema display via TB-DVI adapter.

Any reason to think that wouldn't work? I'm wondering if the TB daisy chaining requires only thunderbolt stuff and not adapters, etc.

Thanks!

Yes. It will work. This is part of the Thunderbolt standard.

See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5219

yes, no problem. You can daisychain up to 6 devices, including displays. Just make sure that if your display isn't an Apple Thunderbolt display that its the last peripheral in the chain (obviously)

Not sure how much space you need, but this adds 128gb.
