quick update on 13mbp battery overnight test

i made sure screen auto shutdown and auto dim was off on the new 13 i got last night.. brightness set to 4 blocks from right

fully charged.. unplugged at 11:30pm last night with battery showing 11hr 35mins.. screen on all night.. no sleep mode.. everything on wifi.. bt.. system completely idle as i went to bed..


now it's 7am and battery shows 5hr 10mins left

dont know if this is scientific but its a gauge none the less.. gotta head to work

Did you use Caffeine to keep the screen on? That's an amazing feat if the screen stayed on all night!

Wow, that sounds amazing! So 13 hours if you do nothing? Now try that with Firefox with 10 tabs open and TweetDeck on.

well duh obviously not a realistic test.. so the blogs will probably do some standard battery tests like laptopmag
