quick way to delete 15863 photos on the camera roll

i have 15863 photos on the camera roll and I'm low on space , i have back-up all the photos bit now i want to trash them but is there a alternative way to taking the photos with deleting them one by one

Yeah, sync with iTunes and in the photo tab tell it to sync no photos.

With Windows I connect my iPhone with USB and it will pop up as drive in Windows Explorer, there I remove all the pictures and videos.

With OSX I use iPhoto, import all photos and afterwards it asks do you want to keep the photos or remove them from the device.
