Hello members
I just want to create a quick website and wonder what program I could use for that. As I said, I don't want to get into it too much. I have seen someone working on Dreamweaver and that is to much for me right now.
I have had a wee go on a trial some time ago with a windows based program called WebsiteX5.
Is there anything in that range for OS X?

Thanks

Thanks
How easy/difficult is it?
I have good pc and medium OSx knowledge

I don't know, I haven't made any websites since the 90s, but as far as I know, iWeb is quite easy.

Have a look at these tutorials and try them out yourself, as iWeb is part of the iLife suite, so it already comes with your Mac, unless you or someone else deleted it. In that case you can install iLife via the second grey restore DVD that came with your Mac.

quick website

Thanks!
I had a look and little try(never had a glimpse at it before) and not sure if I will pursue with Iweb.

I like Jason Fried/David Hansson's....

Hey one I used in school becuase didn't have time to use dreamweaver is Serief Web Plus X3. It's dirt cheap like only £30 for a whole package of web and image software. No harder to use than MS Word. Seriously never used before knocked out a great website.

Not sure if it works on Mac though, never tried it.
Hope this helps

Hi v66jack
Thanks.
The cost has changed though it has been worth it and I use it on a VM.
Perfect for what I need!

iWeb ++1

Definitely the easiest (fastest also) way to create a website if you don't know html/css.
