I'm hoping someone here has had this problem and resolved it already but here it goes:

I'm the admin at my work and the accountant has previously used Quickbooks 2004 to do her work. The QB file has been stored on our server and she is able to execute the file from there. However, when she upgraded to QB 2005, she is no longer able to execute the file from the server. She must now copy the file to her local machine, make the changes, then copy the file back to the server. The privileges on the file are the same as they were in the past. In fact, in order to try and troubleshoot this problem, I've created a dummy QB file on the server, to play around with, and gave EVERYONE rwx permissions on the file.

In case anyone was wondering, I've already called Intuit and they tell me that this functionality that I'm attempting to achieve isn't "supported" in the new version. Whether "supported" means, they didn't code for this situation (which is beyond me how they would goof that one up) or they just don't care to help with this type of problem.

Thanks in advance for your help!
