QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac - ok for SL 64-bit kernel?

Not sure, but there was no installation software required for this camera when I had it running under 10.5, but ever since I've upgraded to 10.6, it's been hit or miss getting the camera to be recognized by iChat and Photobooth. Seems to be a well documented occurrence with people using it with 10.6. I'm not sure on whose end, Logitech or Apple, a fix needs to come from

Do the same problems occur in Skype?

I don't use Skype so I can't say for sure, but the past two iChat videoconferences I've had have gone without a hitch but I'm not holding my breath.
