Quicken file on Imac

I have installed VirtualBox and Windows Vista and Quicken successfully on my new Imac. Now I am having issues trying to get the Quicken data file to Quicken running on Virtual Box. First I put it on a flash drive but Vista on VirtualBox doesn't see it so I can't access it. I then put it on a cd but when trying to access it though Quicken it just asks me to insert the disc, when I do this it doesn't access it. Can anyone help me get this file to my Imac?
