Hi everyone, I have read a few topics on the subject of dates and Quicken uploads but nothing is exactly like the problem I’m having. I have picked up a copy of Quicken 2007 in the states that I want to use in Australia, the help doco said it would recognise Canadian dates (same as Australia) my international setting in the mac. Are 01/01/2007 or dd/mm/yyyy when I manually enter data into the transaction register in quicken the dates stick (work), however when I download a .qif file from my bank (ANZ) and import it the dates are screwed up for example the dates 01.03.2007 – 12.03.2007 are kinda reversed to 03.01.2007 or 03.12.2007 but 13.03.2007 out to the end of the month are the load up correctly, I have Canada checked as country in Quicken Preferences. I’ve spent a bit of money buying all these damn financial packages and can’t believe I can’t get anything perfect. 1 month ago I was enjoying MS Money on Windows XP but after the constant blue screens and system freezing on XP I bought a mac . so far I love mac .. except for the shocking selection of personal Finance apps… come on apple.. create imoney !

Here is a copy of my .qif file (sample) ate issue ? Numbers and name scrambled . … help would really be apprecieated !! cheers. !

((((((There was a post about this recently and if I recall correctly, you need to set your system date and time preferences to month/day/year !! )))))

OK now what I want to know is how do I change the date to month day year in mac without changing my regional settings ??? I think this is one big bug in Quicken as I have tried icash ibank and a bunch of other half weak Personal Finance apps and they all load the qif file up with the correct dates can anyone shed some light on this for me please

Cheers
