I don't know when it began but Quicken is no longer bundled with the new Macs on the Apple Store website. It shows up on some refurbished Macs and can be purchased separately in the software section. I always liked it but I see many users did not. It could be the end of the product for the Mac if it loses its preinstalled status.
 
It was only ever installed with Pro Macs, wasn't it? I never had it come with any of my Macs. Was it a full working version or just a demo? I would've thought it'd only be a demo anyway. :)
