Hi,

I'm wondering what the quickest way to delete large time machine backups is? I've got one here I've just put in the trash and hit empty, and it's "Preparing to empty the Trash...", and we're at "Items to delete: 300,000", and it's continuing to rise.

Is it better to do it from within Time Machine? Or doesn't it matter?

Using the rm command from the terminal should be fairly quick as well.
